How do you send the pottery & how long will it take to arrive?

Pick Up
Orders for collection in person are normally ready the next working day. We'll send you an email when your order is ready to collect.
Delivery
Because our main focus is making pottery, we don't pack and send postal orders everyday. We pack orders on a Monday & Friday.  In order to then get your pots to you quickly and safely, we use the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service, except for orders under £14 for which we will use a standard 1st Class Royal Mail Service. These services normally take 2-3 days to arrive. Due to our remote location there may occasionally be a small delay, which is usually due to poor weather affecting our ferry or plane service.

Can I return pottery?

As our pottery is handmade each piece is unique, and there will be slight variations in colour, size and design. We hope you will be completely satisfied with your purchase but, if for any reason you are not, please contact us upon receipt. We are happy to refund the price of any unused, undamaged pot provided that we are notified within 5 days of receipt. We will refund the cost of the pottery as soon as we receive the returned item in the original packaging. We cannot refund postage costs. We would advise using a secure 'signed for' delivery service for returns.

What if my pottery arrives damaged?

We expect you to receive your pottery in perfect condition but in the unlikely event of damages during transit we will be happy to replace if possible or refund these pots as long as you contact us within 2 days of receiving your item and provide images of the broken item and the box it arrived in.

How do I care for the pottery?

Tyrii Pottery is suitable for domestic use and is oven safe. Putting items in the dishwasher is not recommended but we do use it ourselves in this way. Unglazed earthenware is porous and can absorb moisture, so always remember to use a mat when placing on a polished surface. Our pots should not be used on the hob or under the grill.
